It took me a lot of healthy blends and self-reflection exercises to believe that it is good to take a break and analyze yourself: the habits, the routines, the care,and the determination. While you folks are here, I would like to share my experiences and what I do on a Sunday. This self-care day made me affectionate towards myself, open to every good or bad possibilities and made me responsible of how I should treat myself because I deserve it. I hope you like what I do and somewhat try to motivate yourself like

the way I did.
Here is my routine for a self-care Sunday:
BREAKFAST:
It is important to eat something before starting your day. Your body and primarily your brain needs it to function throughout the day. For me, it is mostly a couple of whole eggs in the form of a loaded veggie omelette cooked in butter with or without the bread. Eggs are the best and the simplest source of protein so for those who are on a calorie deficit diet or a low carb diet should stick to them. CARBS DON'T MAKE YOU FAT IF EATEN THE RIGHT ONES IN THE RIGHT WAY. Eat your breakfast with a fruit smoothie for an early morning carb loading.

SKIN CARE:
Th idea of a nice skin is not a perfect single toned, blemish free and bouncy baby skin. It is something that looks hydrated, and less pigmented.Working on a skin regime for the past 6-8 months comprising of mostly diys gave me the confidence to talk about my own experiences, before I start a series of it I would like to tell my girls and guys to know that every skin type is different when it comes to visible differences and even visible reactions.
I want to start off with the most basic tips that most of you know, but still won't stick to beause no one has the energy and time to do it. Give it a try I'd say.
1. Drink Water and Infused water:
Start your day with two glasses of water on an empty stomach and make sure you drink at least 10 glasses throughout the day. For infuse water, Mint and lemon are the most known detoxifiers that help a lot.
2. Healthy Juice Blends:
Healthy juice blends are for real the glow recipe all of us need (details down below)
3. Cleanse:
Every night even if you don't wear makeup because the dirt and grease settle on your skin during the day and definitely need to be wiped off. For this, the diys that I suggest are honey, milk, yogurt, and rice creams( you can make one at home and it the potential steal for you)
4. Wear Sunscreen:
Wear a high potency sunscreen before stepping out even for the shortest period of time- it helps prevent excessive pigmentation and skin disorders.
5. Moisturise:
All skin types need hydration which prevents the appearance of pores and dullness.

POST WORKOUT MEAL:
The post workout meal should give you all the energy resources. A quick source to replenish the stores of your exhausted muscles, satisfies your sweet tooth and tightens the skin.
A balanced carb+protein smoothie:
1 Ripe banana
1 peach
1 date
2 tbsp low/full fat yogurt
2 tbsp flax seeds
ice

SKIN FOOD:
My most favourite part of the day is having refreshing juice blends using veggies and fruits and alternating every other day.
1. Red juice: blend of apple, ginger, beets, lemon and mint
2. Refreshing summer Drink: blend of cucumber, Lettuce leaves, Mint, lemon, ginger slice, salt and pepper and honey (if you like it sweet)
3. Melon blend: Melon, mint leaves water and chia seeds on top.
These blends boost metabolism, burn abdominal fat, flush toxins, and clear skin is a cherry on top.

DIY MASK:
1. Ripe papaya pulp
2 Fresh cream
3. Lemon juice
4. Aloe gel
5. Honey
It is suitable for dry and dehydrated skin only
Keep it on for 20 minutes at least
Could be applied 3/week
Lemon may not suit everyone
Messy and smelly but worth it
Rinse with water only once done and gently dab your face to absorb the extra greasiness.

Little tiny bites of cheating to treat yourself occasionally before you go back to grinding your gears for a week.
