What type of fabric and color of hijab you chose for sunny day matters a lot to save you from sweaty hair and an uncomfortable day.

Here are the summer friendly fabric for hijab:

  1. Cotton: Cotton fabric allows your hair to breath in heat day because it is a naturally breathable fiber.

  2. Linen: Linen is my go to options for summer's day because it is a natural breathable fiber which allows air to contact your hijab and also it fixes on your head beautifully without a head cap. so, it's a win win.

  3. Viscose: Although it is a manufactured fiber but it is actually so light weighted and inexpensive which will definitely make your hijab journey easier.

While talking about hijab color in summers, you should go for tints of colors.Don't opt for dark colors as they absorb heat rapidly and will make your head warm.

3. How to style your hijab in summery day

Styling your hijab with layers is not a wise choice for sunny day neither a tight hijab with under cap nor a hijab wrapped tightly. Instead wear your hijab loosely; here is how

  • wear the hijab like both the sides of it are evenly and throw both the sides on the opposite shoulders. Apply the pins as needed.

  • to fix the hijab on head either pin it with safety pin on the head or wear glasses on your head.

4. Lice problem

Sweat in the hair is the main cause of lice. It is not a topic to be ashamed of but to talk and resolve it because it is from nature. This shampoo showed here is a fighter of lice and leave your hair shiny and comfortable.
